About Me

02 May 2013 005
My name is Tracey Buckle MBACP (Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am a qualified Counsellor/Supervisor and I currently run a private practice in Accrington, Lancashire.

I work as an integrative counsellor, which means that I combine ideas and insights drawn from different counselling theories in order to tailor my counselling sessions to the needs of the individual. This approach supports my philosophy that each person is unique and therefore no one approach suits all.

As a counsellor I aim to offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore any issues that may be important to you at this time.

I have experience of  serving in the Royal Air Force, working within the Mental Health sector,  Supported Living and with the Homeless. My counselling work has included working with ITV, Local Charities and the East Lancashire Women’s Centres.

An important aspect of being a counsellor is my Continuous Professional Development (CPD), listed below is a sample of some of the training I have attended:

Embracing your Inner Child
Rape and Assault
Domestic Violence Awareness
Self harm & Suicide Prevention
Difference & Diversity
LGBT Awareness
Loss & Bereavement
Trauma & Somatic Experiencing

Anti-natal & Post-natal Health Workshop
